Plymouth and RoadAmerica

This is Ryan's parents house in Plymouth, WI. Carlene and Bob put up flowers and wedding decorations everywhere.

This is the kitchen - I just love this room and everyone seems to congregate here when we visit.

It was cold enough on Friday for a fire and Ryan relaxed with some TV.

Bas prepared some beef stew that cooked all day. He and Aaron went to Milwaukee to pick up Brooke from the airport, so we set the table and waited for them.

They were so grateful that we waited...

Here we all are enjoying the meal - Bretton and Sergio showed up at the last minute as well.

Happy Birthday Sergio! We found out it was Sergio's 31st Birthday on Saturday, so toasted him with tequila at midnight - which promptly sent Bob and Carlene off to bed. The rest of us stayed up for awhile drinking and talking (and lighting off fireworks!).

On Saturday, before the reception, Ryan and I headed over to RoadAmerica - an international raceway in the middle of farmland - less than 20 miles from Bob and Carlene's farm. You can drive up on the grass and park wherever you want to watch the races.

So we parked overlooking the track and Ryan longboarded down the big grass hills.

And I rode down on my butt (and totally wiped out).

We were there on the day they were doing vintage car races, so we got to see classic British and pre-war cars like this one. We headed back to the house around 2 to get ready for Reception #2!
